CompoGloves was founded by Nikki Costello-Brummitt. In her early years she co-founded Wowcher with her father and her forever inspiration Nick Brummitt. Since becoming a parent and relocating to the Hampshire coast, Nikki has been a pioneer for helping create a greener, cleaner planet for future generations, preserving wildlife and our ecosystems as well as reducing plastic waste.

However it was August 2021 when she was filling up her car and put on one of the plastic gloves provided at fuel stations, wore it for no more than a few minutes and put it in the bin. This sparked an interest in how many plastic gloves went to landfill each year and the damage they cause. These such gloves are made from virgin plastic, used for a matter of minutes and go in the bin! Slightly horrified Nikki became dedicated to developing a better, more sustainable and planet friendly alternative! And VOILA CompoGloves was born!
